Step 1: Install and run the Acrowsoft Video Converter for Mac

Free download Acrowsoft Video Converter for Mac. After the download, install and run the software. Then you will see the main interface as below:

Step 2: Add files

Click “Add” button to open video files. Then you can select the files that you want to convert in the dialog box that opens, and load them. The information of the loaded files will be showed in the list, such as source file, duration, target form, estimated size, etc. See the picture.

Tip 1: You can click “Add” button repeatedly, if you want to convert many video files at one time.

Tip 2: If the video is not the one you wanted or you are not satisfied with the file, just click “Delete” button. But you must choose it firstly.

Tip 3: when you want to delete all the files on the main interface, you just need to click “Clear” button. It can be finished just in one click. It’s very time-saving and convenient.

Tip 4: In previewing, “Last” button can make the file skip up one by one. While “Next” button can make the file skip down one by one.

Step 3: Set output format

After adding the video files, you can choose the output format in the “profile” setting area under the file list. Click the down-arrow to choose the format you want.

Tip 1: Find the suitable format for your device in the secondary list.

Tip 2: Choose output folder for converted video files.

Click on the drop-down column “Output Folder” to choose your target folder and click “Open” to browse your target folder, which will help you preserve the new media files.

Step 4: Convert

After the above settings, check the files that needed to convert in the file list, then you just need to click “Start” button to start converting. Then wait a moment, you'll have the output files that you want.

Tip : If you want to let a few video files get together, you just tick the box of “Merge into one file”. It will make that come true.

1. Preview input files:

You can preview the movie, change the target form and rename the target files before converting gets started. Just click “Play” Button. Then click “Stop” Button to let it stop. See the picture.

2.Edit the video file (Optional)

If you do not want to do any editing on the movie, please skip this step. “Crop & Trim” and “Effect” button are quite magical. Select an item, and click one of these two buttons. You can crop the video, change the video’s effect or add a watermark on the video.

Tip 1: Trim your favorite segment

Trim your favorite segment by setting "Start Time" and "End Time", or just enter the beginning and ending time you like to get the fantastic clips. You can get the exact video clip that interests you. The program allows you to trim a video clip precise to MS, for example, from 00:00:05 to 00:00:15. Finally, just click “OK” Button, and if you want to give up, just click “Default” Button. Look the picture.

Tip 2: Crop frame size to retain what you want

Crop the picture frame of a video file to remove any unwanted area from it using this video converter like a pair of smart scissors. Method: Click “Zoom” Combo box to select the ratio of the image, such as “Default” (Keep original), “Fit to scene”, “Letter box”,“Pan & Scan”, etc. Click“Width”, “Height”, “Left”, “Top” Combo boxes to set the value of every property to meet your need. Tip 3: Customize video effect

Customize video effect by setting ,“Brightness”, “Contrast”, “Saturation” of movie video and choosing “Effect”, “Deinterlacing” Combo boxes to apply special video effects to your video files. Change the effect of the video according to your own interests. Improve the effects of interlacing video by using deinterlacin.

Brightness:Drag the Brightness adjustment bar to set the brightness of the video.

Contrast:Drag the Contrast adjustment bar to set the contrast of the video

Saturation:Drag the Saturation adjustment bar to set the saturation of the video.

Effect:Click “Effect” to choose the effect of the video you want

Deinterlacing: Click “Deinterlacing” to choose the way of deinterlacing.

Tip: If you want to set these values for every file, you just tick the box of “Apply to all”, which will save you much time and some unnecessary work.You can see the picture:

Tip 4: Add watermarks to your new converted video

Add watermarks (Image Watermark & Text Watermark) to your new converted video to meet various different purposes. You can personalize your video with multiple pictures and/or text watermarks added in order to make your video different from others’. Just click “OK” Button to preserve your setting. Click “Cancel” Button to abandon the setting. The interface is as followed.

3. Taking a snapshot and fullscreen are allowed

By clicking ”Snapshot” button to take a snapshot of your beloved pictures and save them in BMP or JPG format. In menu of “Tools”, you can do more detailed Snapshot Settings and Output Settings like: Save Path, Format, Save Path, etc. What’s more, “Open Snapshot Folder” Button can help you open the snapshot folder just now. In addition, “Full Screen” button can give you a full screen.

4. Support batch conversion

You can convert multiple files in batches just by one click instead of converting them one by one with great effort. Converting in batches will make you save much time and energy. It’s very quick and time-saving.
